1. Overview

Grizly's Workbench is a Connecticut-based woodshop specializing in handcrafted custom furniture and home décor. All products are either made to order or produced in limited quantities using premium materials and traditional woodworking techniques.

2. Custom Orders

Made-to-Order Products: All custom pieces are individually designed and crafted. Once an order is confirmed and work has begun, it cannot be canceled or changed without our written consent.

Design Approvals: Design renderings or sketches may be provided for approval before production. It is the customer’s responsibility to review all specifications carefully.

Lead Time: Typical production timelines vary depending on the project but generally range from 4–12 weeks. We will provide an estimated delivery or completion window at the time of order confirmation.

3. Payment Terms

Pricing: All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Prices may change without notice but will not affect orders already confirmed.

Deposit: A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required for all custom orders. The balance is due prior to delivery or shipment.

Sales Tax: As required by Connecticut state law, applicable sales tax will be added to all orders delivered within Connecticut.

4. Shipping and Delivery

Local Delivery: We offer delivery services within Connecticut and surrounding states. Fees may apply based on distance and item size.

Nationwide Shipping: Freight shipping is available for larger items. We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by third-party carriers.

Inspection: Please inspect your item upon receipt. Any damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a resolution.

5. Returns and Cancellations

Custom Items: Because all custom pieces are made to client specifications, we do not accept returns or offer refunds once the design and production have been approved.

Standard Items: Ready-made items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Order Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placing them. After that, cancellations are subject to forfeiture of the deposit.

6. Product Descriptions

We strive to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. However, due to the handmade nature of our work and variations in natural wood, slight differences in grain, color, and finish may occur. These are not considered defects but part of the uniqueness of custom craftsmanship.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including images, product designs, logos, text, and graphics, is the property of Grizly's Workbench and protected under U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grizly's Workbench shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts located in Hartford County, Connecticut.
